The Board has the responsibility for registering all qualified Professional Land Surveyors and Land Surveyors-in-Training.  The Board also issues Certificates of Authorization.  There are presently 202 Professional Land Surveyors, and 198 Land Surveying firms registered by this Board.

Highlights:

During the fiscal year 2007, the Board held 12 meetings with the following results: 7 applicants were registered as Professional Land Surveyors, the Board issued 7 new Certificates of Authorization, received 13 complaints and disposed of 5. 

The Board was represented at the N.C.E.E.S. Annual Meeting September  13-16, 2006 in Anchorage, Alaska

The Board hosted the N.C.E.E.S. Northeast Zone Meeting May 17-19, 2007 in Newport, Rhode Island
